Legenda Education Group
Legenda Education Group is a fast growing educational Group and one of the largest private tertiary institutions in Malaysia. Currently, there are four Colleges listed under the Group, three of which have been established for almost 20 years, while the other Colleges have histories of over 25 years and 7 years respectively.
The Legenda Education Group comprises:

About Dr. Kamis Awang
 | Dr Kamis Awang joined the Legenda Education Group after having served 24 illustrious years of service with Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) under various capacities including as a lecturer, Head of Department, Dean of Faculty and Dean of Graduate School. He graduated from the top ranked Australian National University with BSc (Forestry) Hons. and later with a PhD in Forestry from the same university. During his service at UPM, he was also seconded to Winrock International Institute of Agricultural Development for three years as a Network Specialist coordinating research and training in humid region of Asia Pacific region. He was a visiting Hunt Professor, at Stephen F. Austin State University, Texas for six months. He has been a consultant to several projects on education and research under Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), Australia Council for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR), and Ministry of Primary Industry, Malaysia. Professionally, he has served among others as Executive Secretary, Asia-Pacific Association of Forestry Research Institutions (APAFRI), Executive Board member, International Union of Forestry Research Organisations (IUFRO) and Advisory Council Member, Department of Wildlife and National Parks, Malaysia. |

Teaching Philosophy

Location
Legenda Education Group is ideally located in a university township near Mantin town in the state of Negeri Sembilan, at the crossroads between Kuala Lumpur in the north and Johore Bharu in the south. This university township is located about 50km from Kuala Lumpur, and can be reached within 30 minutes from the Sungei Besi toll in Kuala Lumpur. Other adjacent townships are Bandar Baru Nilai (10km) and Seremban (19km). The Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is located adjacent to the campus.
Public transport is easily accessible to Seremban and Kuala Lumpur. For those who do not wish to use the road, the nearest rail commuter station, Batang Benar Station, is located only 7 km from the campus. From Batang Benar Station, students can conveniently commute to Kuala Lumpur, KL Sentral, Seremban, KLIA, Putrajaya and other destinations.
